How do you record, mix, and master over 50 tracks of binaural audio into a cohesive soundscape?
Binaural audio is created by placing small microphones in your ears and recording your surroundings.
The phase and volume differences naturally produced by your ears and interpreted by your brain are recreated in the recording, resulting in realistic three-dimensional sound.
To make my soundscape, I recorded multiple hours of binaural audio, separated out good samples, and mastered them into a story with Logic Pro.
Listen to the song with headphones, close your eyes, and you’ll feel like you’re right there!
