How do you create a clean and universal incense holder?

In a Human-Centered Design Project, I created an incense stick holder that cleanly disposes of ash into empty bottles, holds any size incense stick, and doesn’t produce harsh smoke.

The design had over 10 iterations, many of which were rapid prototyped with 3D printing.

A complete provisional patent for the MakeCense was drafted and has been filed.
